Dispersing Agent
Dispersing agents are used to wet and stabilize pigments and other particles within paints, coatings and ink formulations. For formulators they represent an essential component as they provide colour strength, gloss, viscosity stability and prevent sedimentation of particles. A solid material like pigment and extender dispersed in a liquid like water requires an additive to make the dispersion process easier and stable.
